New technology has enabled me to produce prints at a much lower cost than traditional darkroom methods. I never thought I would get satisfactory results from a computer printer but then I tested a dedicated photo printer and Canon's exclusive high-gloss Photo Paper Pro. I have to admit I was amazed!

How the prints are made:
First prints are made in the traditional way I normally make my black & white prints: handmade in a darkroom. These traditional photographic prints are then carefully scanned and optimized for print on a dedicated photo printer on Canon's high-gloss, heavy-weight Photo Paper Pro (actually thicker than traditional photographic paper). It's pretty amazing. Click for Canon's product information on Light Fastness. Is a print made this way any good? Yes, absolutely. Otherwise I would not feel it appropriate to offer them for sale.

How big are the prints?
Four of the photos are 13x19 cm / 5x7.5 inches. There are two photos on a sheet (21x30 cm / 8x12 inches) of Photo Paper Pro. Eight of the photos are 6x9 cm / 2.5x3.5 inches, they come on one sheet. The photos are cropped or zoomed in on the essential parts of the photos. Below you can see how it looks.
